The most beautiful of Super Khali

At 2 years old, Super Khali (Shalaa) had revealed a certain quality by winning in good style, in the autumn, his maiden over the 1,300m at Longchamp. In nine races, the representative of Khalifa Mohammed Al Attiyah and Alessandro & Giuseppe Botti had never left the top five... In 2022, he is now undefeated in two outings !

Saved by the post. Picked up on leaving, Super Khali has long evolved in the middle of the peloton. Still in penultimate position when entering the final straight, Super Khali had to squeeze between his rivals to find his day. But, once launched 200m from the post, the colt had a good run.

A "nice" program on the P.S.F. Recently, on the track of the day, Super Khali had just triumphed with authority in a handicap. After this success at a highest level, one of his trainers, Alessandro Botti, said: “He's a great horse. We beat Moutussan who was the class filly of the lot. Super Khali has kicked off really well this winter. Now he is much more mature. In the future, he should still have an interesting program on the P.S.F. »

Aljumayliyah's brother. Super Khali is a student of Khalifa Mohammed Al Attiyah, Castillon Bloodstock stable, Chauvigny Global Equine and Riverview Bloodstock. Presented at the 2020 Arqana selection sale by the Haras de Castillon, he was bought for €30,000 by Alessandro Botti. He is a son of Shalaa. The mother, Aldayha (Acclamation), won a race in seven outings, a maiden in July of her 3 year old over the 1,400m of Salisbury. Super Khali is his third foal and his second winner. She has a yearling by Shalaa. Super Khali is a brother to Aljumayliyah (Olympic Glory), winner at 2 and third in the Prix La Sorellina (L).

The second dam, Galistic (Galileo), held up well, having won the Challenge Stakes (L, 2,800m) in Ireland. At stud, she gave Guinnevre (Duke of Marmalade), winner of the Baden-Baden Cup (L, 1,400m) at 3 years old. She also gave Hala Hala (Invincible Spirit), who did not shine in the race but produced the precocious Hala Hala Hala (Exceed and Excel), second in the Princess Margaret Stakes (Gr3) in July as a 2yo.
